Storyline

The year is 1999. Since the beginning of the year, people had been preaching about the end of the world when the year ends and the new century begins. Not many people believe these preachers, yet some do, and some have prepared themselves for the disaster that will ensue.

it is currently July, and starting at the end of last month there had been reports of Demonic Creatures and Ghostly Figures in large buildings and forests. As well as reports of hideous murders, thought to be done by a secret cult known as 'Sword of Millenia'. One said murder happened mere weeks ago, and still leaves investigators shocked. A young woman, in her mid-twenties was raped, and then killed. Her flesh was peeled from her body, and her blood was used to outline her body and perform some kind of a religion.

The ground around her is scorched, but her body remains untouched. Her husband, Edward White hasn't been seen since her death, and his home had looked like it had been ransacked, with a large dogs body impaled through his floor and three armored bodies torn in half. Large claw marks have made a hole in his floor, leading to the basement where the floor looks like it was dug up, and then collapsed on itself.

Nobody is quite sure what happened at these two locations, but many believe it to be a sign of the coming apocalypse. What will truly happen when the world reaches the year 2000? Our story will tell ou the truth, and it begins in New York City. . .



Crests

In this world, Magic is rare, but does exist. It comes in the forms of Magic Crests, though to have been from the Medieval Era where Wizards were said to roam the worlds. Each Crest is said to have fallen from an ancient book known as Soloman's Book, but it has long since been destroyed by the Church, but the Crests still remain in the world. People use these Crests to create fire, ice, lightning and other things no matter where they are. They can even be used to heal wounds and sickness. Every character unless they are Harmonizers or have a Soul Pact can have a Crest. They can either be Offensive, Defensive or Support.

Offensive is made for those who like to hurt others. They gain control over powerful, and deadly spells.

Defensive is balanced between Support and Offensive. They gain weaker offensive spells, and weaker support spells.

Support is made for those who like to help others. They gain no hurtful spells, and instead gain spells that heal and treat the injured, as well as a few spells that increase ones fighting abilities.


Elements

Everything in the world has an element, except for a few things that have long vanished from the world. The elements make a fine balance in the world, you wont find more Earth aligned People then Fire, or more Water then Light unless a war had caused such.

Fire Elemental people are a bit stronger physically, and deal more damage against those with Water Affinity.

Water Elemental people are a bit stronger mentally, and deal more damage against those with Fire Affinity.

Earth Elemental people are a bit harder to hurt, and deal more damage against those with Wind Affinity.

Wind Elemental people are a bit quicker, and deal more damage against those with Earth Affinity.

Light Elemental people are strong and quick, and deal more damage against those with Dark Affinity.

Dark Elemental people are smart and hard to hurt, and deal more damage against those with Light Affinity.


Harmonizers, Soul Contracts, Demon Morphs

These are rare beings in the world. Harmonizers are people born into the world who control a form of Malice. Using this Malice, they are able to bind a Demons Energy onto themselves and take on a more powerful and demonic form. This usually grants them the ability to use magic. Those who have a Soul Contract are always suffering from a fear that the inner Demon may devour them and they lose their mind, but when it is required they are able to call upon their inner demon to take on a form similar to the Harmonizers. Demon Morphs are another term used for Harmonizers. Neither form can use Crest Magic.

Name: Jason Boyd

Appearance: Jason stands at five foot ten and has an athletic build. His hair is neatly cut in a simple and short style and he also has tanned skin. His eyes are a fierce green, which doesn't match well with his goofy expressions he is famous for. He is commonly seen in his undercover street clothes, which consists of simple looking jean pants and a white t-shirt with a zip-up hoodie. When its cold out, he'll also wear his winter coat which is a dark blue and hooded. His gun is always hidden under his hoodie or coat and on his left side.

Personality: Jason is a young and talkative individual. He was known to be the class clown in his school days and was also commented on his strong sense of justice whenever he saw bullies picking on those lesser then themselves. Because of these two traits alone, Jason never had a problem making friends with people until later in life. When people stopped liking the clown, he slowly picked up a more serious front, yet it isn't perfect and his clown usually peeks through. In battle he is known to keep a cool head and focus on his objective even when odd occurrences happen around him.

History: Jason Boyd grew up in a small town in Manitoba, Canada. While growing up he had an older brother who he loved and admired. His name was James, and he was seven years his senior. Jason wanted to do everything that James did, he played Soccer, he learned jokes and tried to make everyone laugh. Everything seemed fine for everyone, until Jason was ten, his brother being seventeen.

His brother got into a lot of trouble since he turned fourteen. He was arrested for vandalism, possession of drugs and fighting, among other things. When he was seventeen, he finally decided to turn his life around but before he could actually do something he was shot when the local convenience store was robbed. James tried to fight off the criminals, and ended up paying with his life.

After that event Jason's parents moved to America with him, to take him away from the bad life, but they ended up moving into New York which was worth, but over the years New York had grown on Jason and although he was far different from how his brother was now, he put himself into a Police College to learn how to help defend the streets. When he finally passed his exams and received his badge he was given a call to investigate a disturbance in an abandoned building. Expecting to just find some teenagers partying Jason took the job, but ended up being thrown into the hospital after a large explosion happened on the roof top. He also recovered with an amnesia affect, he doesn't recall his brother or anything that happened in that building. What causes this? What happened in that building?



Demon Sheet / Contracted


Name of Demon: Helgias

Element: Dark

Weapon Addition?: A large Scythe made of a large, blood stained bone surrounded with black flames that from a blade.

Appearance: Helgias, unlike most contracted demons doesn't overtake Jason completely. Instead they share a bond of balance. The new version of Helgias has large demonic wings that are able to wrap around himself to block nearly all matter of physical material like bullets and knives. The wingspan on itself is about eight feet for each wing. The facial features resemble that of Jason, except the hair is longer and a crimson red while the eyes are a bright green that seem to glow. Size wise, Helgias makes Jason look a bit more muscular and a tiny bit taller, although its barely noticeable. The only things you can recognize of Jason when in Helgias is the face and torso, from the shoulders down his arms are covered in a black armor with large claws at the end. The legs are surrounded by a robe that is torn at the front, making it split, underneath you can see black armored leggings like that of a knight from the castle age. The robe is held up by a belt of skulls. There are also spikes that come from his back, in total there is four, two on the shoulders and two above the waist.

Special Abilities: In battle Helgias uses a combination of his feet and Scythe when he fights.
He has many special abilities, which including the ability to fly and/or hover above the ground and release a shock wave from his body, causing no harm but pushing lighter objects away from him. His signature moves are the following,

He commonly uses a long-ranged attack where he swings his scythe and launches what appears to be black blades.

He has an ability that he uses when he's in the air that launches a powerful energy ball below his feet, causing a large explosion.

He also has a defensive move where he releases an aura around himself, filling him with an anger that allows him to break through more objects when he strikes them. Perfect for shielded enemies.
